From 2003 I have been working in Arquingenieros, an Architectural and Engineering Office, leading the project planning and construction management.  From 2011 I have been also teaching in the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Materials Science and from 2014 in the European University of Canarias in Mechanical Structure and Engineering. After completing my thesis of durability of concrete with fibers and silica fume in 2010, I focused my research in concrete behaviour at early ages and in the valorization of waste products, such as rubber and ceramic fillers, in composite materials. I have been a Staff Visiting Member at The University of Sheffield in the summer of 2015, where we discussed and planned future collaborations in the area of rubberized concrete.
